Beijing Red Wall Garden Hotel Wangfujing, Beijing

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were exactly what I had hoped for, spacious and charming with traditional wooden furniture. The staff was so helpful and hospitable, making me feel very comfortable. The location was both convenient and inconvenient, situated in a hutong neighborhood close to the Forbidden City but requiring a short taxi ride or a relatively long walk to reach other areas. The dining experience was delightful with lots of delicious options, including a variety of Western and Eastern dishes. Overall, a great place to stay with some minor inconveniences.

The hotel offers a cozy and warm atmosphere with intimate rooms that are traditional and comfortable, though there was a minor issue with a leaking shower. The location is fantastic, providing a quiet courtyard to relax in and easy access to various sites via the Metro. The dining experience was satisfying with a variety of food options, and the service was consistently friendly and accommodating.

My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The rooms were a wonderful surprise to celebrate our wedding anniversary, very large with a view over the courtyard. Although only separated from the passage by curtain, wood, and glass, they were quite attractive and cool despite the sweltering June weather. The service provided by the staff was exceptional; they spoke some English which made our visit much easier as we speak no Chinese. They went above and beyond for guests, were all delightful and attentive throughout our stay, and had been so even in email exchanges before we arrived. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet hutong very close to many sites, ideal for sightseeing around the city center, within a 5-minute walk of other hotels and the subway station. However, the dining experience fell slightly short of expectations with just adequate options, but the variety in food was good. Overall, the facilities were great, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

My stay at the hotel was generally pleasant. The rooms, while able to accommodate up to 3 people comfortably, could have used a good dusting and vacuuming as my dust allergies were triggered during my time there. The courtyard arrangement was a nice touch, but there was a noticeable cigarette smell in the mornings.

I fell in love with the charming wooden tub in the spacious and clean room. The creaky wooden floors and cozy decor added a sense of relaxation. The staff was always friendly, interested in our adventures, and ready to assist in booking exciting trips. The hotel's location in the Hutong area was a lovely escape, but ensure you have directions for taxis. The dining experience offered a great variety of local and international cuisine.
